As with many enduro riders we decided to forgo the stock bars on our CRF450X project bike and install a set of Zeta SX taper Handlebars and Mount. After a few rides to get the feel for them here's our impression.

The ZETA ribbed wall handlebar is a new concept in the industry. The ribbed design on the interior of the bar allows for a lighter weight construcion without sacrificing the bars structural integrity and strenght.

The Zeta SX bar is made of 2014 T-6 aluminum for strength, and flexability. The Ribbed Wall technology offers a good deal of flexibility to help soak up the impact passed from machine to rider.

As with Pegs the handlebars are your most common point of contact with your bike. We chose the SX bend as it allows us a good width bar without going overboard so you can still get through the tight single track without getting hooked up as some overisze bars can do.

It also feature the classic "taper" bend that we have grown used to over the years and feel comfortable with.

To Mount our Zeta Bars we chose the RX mount Designed for easy installation of over-sized bars(1-1/8") to your stock rubber-mounted top clamp.

The mounts accepts 28.6mm (1 1/8") handlebars with OEM triple clamps. The one-piece top bar mount helps to stabilize rubber-mounted bars.

The bolts feature a unique offset that allows you to move the bars forwards or backwards on your tripleclamps to suit the riders size or preferred riding position.

Other mounting kits are available that offer up to 64 different postions. We're happy with the additional 2 settings our clamps offered us choosing to move the bars forward on or CRF450X.

The "cam" system of mounting bolts allow for 2 additional mounting positions so you can set them forward or back.

The bars RRP is a mere $119-00 and trick mounts are also $119-00. As well as the gold colour we chose for our bike the Zeta Bars are also available in Silver or Black.

So if your like us and the thought of riding home with a bent set of bars sends chills down your spine then these bars are well worth considering.

They are inexpensive, strong lightweight and when combined with the mounting sytem give that extra bit of flexability in adjustment. Combine that with the rugged good looks and you've got yourself a pretty good package all round.
