Aussie motocross legend, Stephen Gall has announced that he will team up with former Aussie MX Pro and ADB -*test*-('") rider Shane Booth to train reigning World Supercross Champion, James "Bubba" Stewart during season 2007.
"We're really pumped about the deal, especially because James came to us, rather than the other way around," Gall said to ADB.
"At this stage it's a one-year deal with James, with an option to renew. I've also signed a two-year deal to train AMA Superbike rider, Australia's Matt Mladdin. Matt was a very strong motocross rider back in the day, so it's great to be able to team up with him again to keep him ahead of his rivals in the highly-competitive AMA road racing series. I will be heading to America this weekend, while Boothy will follow me over in a few weeks to get started on our program with both riders. Once there, Shane will be living with James while I'll be staying with Matt," the Aussie MX icon went on to explain.
"I've spent a fair bit of time in America in the past year or two, training guys such as Michael Byrne and Andrew McFarlane, so it's nice to get recognition for that. I think it's also a pretty strong -*test*-('")imonial to the training techniques we established with the Yamaha Academy of Off-Road Riding in Australia many years ago - a business which Lyndon Heffernan now owns and successfully operates."
Gall has established an enviable track-record training top-shelf off-road riders over the years, dispensing years of experience in physical and mental training, and tactical and nutritional advice to elite riders looking for that edge on the competition.
