well i just brought me first 2 stroke a 2002 kx125 and im real happy with it. exept the maintance i have to do like how often should i change the gear box oil and what type should i replace it with . how ofter should i clean the air filter all the simple maintance procedure invertals

clean your air filter regularly, with turps or kerosene. squeeze dry of turps or kero (dont wring) and chuck it in some warm soapy water (dishwashing liquid works well). Give it a couple of washes, then rinse it in clean cool water. Squeeze exess water out then leave to dry. Once dry, dose it with good air filter oil then squeeze exess oil out. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes before chucking it back into the bike.
